El ex secretario de seguridad pública en el sexenio de Felipe Calderón habría sido detenido en Texas, reveló la reportera del diario The New York Times Ginger Thompson.
Ha trascendido que la acusación es “corrupción”.
During his time as Mexico’s security minister, from 2006-2012, he worked closely with the DEA, and oversaw the SIU program, or Sensitive Investigative Units. Those units were notoriously leaky, as I reported for @ProPublica and @NatGeo in 2018. One leak triggered a massacre.
